"PORTION OF THE TWENTY-SECOND INFANTRY IN RESERVE NEAR PASIG
The photograph was taken during the progress of a battle at
Pasig, on Laguna de Bay,
and shows a portion of the 22d United States Infantry waiting for
orders to advance.
The picture is a good representation of how men appear and act
immediately before going into battle."
Ed., this photo appeared in
several forms, in a number of books and publications
around the beginning of the 20th century. The webmaster has also
a color tinted
version in his collection.
