FALCON, Iraq Pfc. Francisco Ko, a food service specialist
assigned to
Forward Support Company E, 4th Support Battalion, attached to
Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment,
1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National
Division Baghdad, serves rice to Staff Sgt. Corey Rigge,
an Abrams tank commander from Cottonwood, Minn., assigned to Co.
C, 1st Bn., 22nd Inf. Regt., 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div.,
Dec. 23 at a joint security station in the Rashid district of
southern Baghdad. Ko, a native of Lacey, Wash.,
entered the U.S. Army in January 2008 and arrived in Baghdad in
August.

assigned to Forward Support Company E, 4th Support Battalion,
attached to Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment,
1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National
Division Baghdad, complete preparations
before cooking the evening meal Dec. 23 at a joint security
station in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad.
The Soldiers serve two hot meals each day from a containerized
kitchen, an expandable trailer used to cook food
in field environments. Ko, a native of Lacey, Wash., entered the
U.S. Army in January 2008 and arrived in Baghdad in August.
Rivera, who hails from Trujillo-Alto, Puerto Rico, is also
serving his first combat deployment.

Baghdad, unfolds an American flag found buried in an abandoned
lot in southern Baghdads Rashid district.
Soldiers from a military police company signed the flag, which
appeared to be given as a gift to someone.
A vehicle title was found with the flag. Behler, a Cincinnati
native, confiscated the items for further investigation.
Soldiers from Co. C Copperhead, conduct daily
combined patrols with the Iraqi Security Forces in the Jihad
community.

Soldiers from Company B, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment,
1st BCT, to wish the troops Merry Christmas and happy New Year,
Dec. 25. The command team traveled to combat outposts
and joint security stations on Christmas Day in the Rashid
district of southern Baghdad to show their appreciation for the
Soldiers
who continue to serve during the holiday season.

About the Security Agreement?
From what I have seen, the security agreement is a good
step in the right direction as we transition authority
over to the Iraqis and take a step back, said Staff Sgt.
Corey Rigge, Abrams tank commander from Cottonwood, Minn.,
