The Medical Company of the 22nd
Infantry was de-activated in March, 1946 when the Regiment was
de-activated
at the end of WWII. Though elements of the 22nd Infantry were
re-activated in 1947, the Medical Company was not
re-activated again until November, 1950 when a cadre from the
18th Infantry was detailed to form up
a Medical Company for the 22nd Infantry at Fort Benning, Georgia.
The photos and information on
the next nine pages are taken from the "BRASSARD",
the yearbook for the 22nd Infantry Medical Company 1950-1951.
