22nd Infantry Germany 1950's

 

 

Ayers Caserne at Kirch-Göns, Germany. Home of the 22nd Infantry 1952-1956.
Named after Staff Sergeant Lovall E. Ayers of Company B 22nd Infantry who received
the Distinguished Service Cross and was killed in action near Bruhlborn, Germany on March 2, 1945.

The colors on the right are most likely for the 44th Field Artillery Battalion.
Note on the reviewing stand from left to right are the insignia for the 22nd Infantry,
