PFC Terry Kotschwar 1976

Terry Kotschwar served in the 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry from 1976 through 1979.
During that time he rose through the enlisted ranks from Private to Sergeant E-5.
The following pages are his memories of what it was like to be in the Army during those years.
It was a time when the country was not involved in a major war, and yet, active US Army formations,
such as 1/22 Infantry, had to be prepared to go to war at a moment's notice.
