Arley Phillips
September 1, 1938 - November 8, 2021
Arley Phillips, age 83, of
Kuttawa, KY passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Caldwell
Medical Center in
Princeton. He was of the Methodist faith, a Mason and member of
numerous bass fishing clubs including
River City Bass Club in Paducah. He retired from the U.S. Army
after twenty years of service.
Survivors include his wife, JoLynn Phillips, Kuttawa, KY; one
son, Patrick Phillips, Kuttawa, KY; two
daughters, Catherine Holland, Kuttawa, KY and Carol Hobbs,
Beattyville, KY; one sister, Ethel Halsey,
Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Joey) Fox, Sammy
Holland, Jr., Sandy Holland, Mandy (John)
Burk, Tiffany Hobbs, Richard (Vanna) Hobbs, Jr. and Melonie
(Matt) Schueneman; fourteen great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd Phillips and Mollie
Caldwell Booth, four sisters, Lucy
Moore, Mable Spencer, Carol Brookshire and Cleta Galloway and
four brothers, Kelley Phillips, James
Phillips, Darrell Phillips and Frank Phillips.
There will be no local visitation or services. A memorial service
will be held at a later date in Eastern
Kentucky. Lakeland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
