Marlin F. Muir, Duke,
57 of North Tonawanda on Sunday, March 30, 2003. Duke was an
In-Country Vietnam Veteran
who was awarded a Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. He retired
from Durez Plastics Company as a millwright in 1994
and became an avid golfer and woodworker in his retirement. He is
the father of the late Jason Muir and brother of the late
Noradell Thompson, Shirley Kindya and Geradine Boring.
Surviving is his loving wife,
Paula (nee Wisnieski) Muir of North Tonawanda, Their daughters
Melanie (Jason) OBara
of Batavia and Rebecca Becky Muir of Buffalo; he is
the proud grandfather of Erin Rose OBara and dear brother
of
Melvin Lee (Sharon) Muir of Wheatfield, Donna (Anthony) Penich
and Robert Muir, both of Pennsylvania.. Son-in-law of
Walter C. (Shirley) Wisnieski also of North Tonawanda. Also
survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends received by the family
on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner
Funeral Home,
156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held
on Thursday morning at 10:00,
the Rev. Charles W. Hobbs, Sr. officiating. Flowers are
gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in the memory
