Larry Lee Moe
September 8, 1945 - June 3, 2004
Larry L. Moe, 58, of Northfield,
died Thursday, June 3, 2004, as a result of an auto accident.
Larry was born on Sept. 8, 1945, in Richland Center, Wis., to
Tilden and Geneva "Beth" (Starkey) Moe. He graduated
from
Whitehall High School and married Vicki Leer on Aug. 28, 1971, in
Northfield. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
Larry was a man who loved life and lived it to its fullest. He
loved camping, hunting, fishing, and he was a member of the
York Rod and Gun and ATV Clubs. He also enjoyed his job, the York
ball team, the Packers, and spending time with his family
and friends. He especially loved his wife. Words cannot describe
what a wonderful and dedicated Dad, husband and friend he was.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; two sons, Casey (Tracy) Moe of
Northfield and Mitchell Moe of York; two daughters,
Kim (Wayne) Lauterbach and Marcie Moe of York; his mother, Beth
Moe of Osseo; three brothers, Duane of
Manitowish Waters, Roger (Charlene) Moe of Hixton and Ron (Debra)
Moe of York; five grandchildren, Morgan,
Joseph, Cooper, Bailee and Austin; besides many other relatives
and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Tilden.
Funeral services for Larry L. Moe will be at 1 p.m. on Monday,
June 7, 2004, at the South Beef River Lutheran Church,
rural Osseo, with Rev. Gregory Osfdahl officiating. Burial with
military rites will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call
at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, on Sunday from 3 to
6 p.m. and also one hour prior to services at the church.
