Larry J. Knight

1944 - 2007

 

Larry James Knight was born in Alameda California on 17 September 1944,
he passed away on 28 October 2007 in Kent, Washington.

 

Larry Knight, 63, born on Sept. 17, 1944, was suddenly taken from us on Oct. 28, 2007.
Larry served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 years and during that time met and married his wife
of 36 years, Masako Knight. He is also survived by his mother, Corda Knight; daughter, Riko Knight
(Mike Fogarty) and his two sons, James (Tiersa) and Mark Knight; one brother and 3 sisters;
and 4 grandchildren. His family and friends will always remember his big heart and caring ways.
Memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 5th at 2:00PM in the Evergreen Chapel
at New Tacoma Cemetery.

 

 

Larry J Knight was the HHC Medic assigned to Company A. He was in the unit on November 5th, 10th in 1966
and on February 16, 1967, during Company A's first two major engagements with the enemy.
He was wounded on March 3rd,1967, and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Larry was the Medic who worked on James Batman Blumer when he was wounded on the 16th of Feb 1967.
