Alfred G. Gibson

1947 - 2013

 

 

 

Alfred G. Gibson, age 65 of Westbrook, passed away on Sunday (February 17, 2013) suddenly at home.
He was born in New London, CT on July 29, 1947 to Patricia (O'Shea) Gibson of Westbrook and the late Elmer Gibson.
Al was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, which he was very proud of. After his time in the service
he was a Commercial Fisherman for most of his life on the shoreline. Al was very active in the American Legion
and well known locally. He is survived by his daughter Susan Jensen of Huntsville, AL; one brother Jack Gibson,
and two sisters Mary Greenlaw and Cathy Damto all of Florida. He is also survived by his two grandchildren
Angelica Hart and Caitlin Hart, both of Huntsville, AL.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to
West Roxbury Veterans Hospital spinal cord injury wing, 1400 Pkwy., West Roxbury MA 02132.
