Don Francois

Don is the soldier facing the camera on the left side of the picture.

Don Francois was a member of Company B 1/22 Infantry in 1967.
He passed away of cancer June 21, 2006.

I'm sending you a picture of Don Francois. He told me, in one of his
e-mails, that he was an Air Borne Ranger but had been assigned to B Company
1/22nd Infantry. He said it was the best company he had been with during his
time in the Army. He was retired from the Army after over twenty years of
service. He remembered and respected Capt. Buck Ator and said he was a
great Company Commander in the field.
