David E. Bogle
January 15, 1948 - July 7, 2016
Dave Bogle served as an RTO with Headquarters Company 1/22 Infantry in Vietnam 1968-1969
Griswold David E. Bogle, 68, of Griswold passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Norwich, CT on
January 15, 1948, a son to the late Jeanette (Barr) and Everett
Bogle.
He is married to Priscilla (Rivera) Bogle. She survives him.
David served his country
honorably, within the United States Army, during the Vietnam War.
He was a Sgt. RTO serving proudly
in the 4th Infantry Division. David went on to work at Pfizer and
retired as a chemist in Process R&D.He was a member of the
VFW Post #10004 and the French Club in Jewett City. He loved the
outdoors spending time hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife
Priscilla, he is survived by his son Bob Bogle and wife Tina,
daughter Janexie Cordero, sister Judy Webster,
grandchildren Haley and Taylor Bogle and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Calling hours will be on Monday
evening from 5:00-7:00PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490
Voluntown Road
Jewett City, CT funeral home. There will be a funeral service
held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00AM with interment to
follow,
with military honors, in the Pachaug Cemetery. For online
