Connard E. Banker

Services for Connard E. Banker, age 65, of Denver, N.C., formerly of Painesville, will be noon Thursday
at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mr. Banker passed away July 3, 2010, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, N.C.

He was born May 26, 1945, in Pikeville, Tenn.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Denver, N.C.

Mr. Banker worked for Joseph Dyson and Sons in Painesville Township for many years. He retired in 2006,
from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Department.

He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and spending time with family. Connard was a 1964 graduate of
Riverside High School and graduated from Lakeland Community College. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors are his wife of 41 years, Carol Jeanne (McCue) Banker of Denver, N.C.; daughter, Stacey Mann (fiance, Don Bennington)
of Painesville, Cathy (Jim) Benko of Painesville and Amanda Banker (fiance, Matt Schaser); and grandchildren,
Sadie and Bailey Mann, Shelby and Lindsey Benko.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dollie ( Blaylock) and Aaron Banker.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
