Training Platoon of
Woody's brother Steve. Steve is in the 2nd row from the top,
sixth from the left.
When Woody was killed Steve was able to leave the Army as sole
surviving son. He later joined the Reserves,
where he served for 20 years.

mornings in the Central Highlands frequently
brought such a mist, permeating down into the jungle itself.
