Ernesto "Ernie" Collazo served as an Infantryman in the US Army from 1952-1982, retiring with the rank of
Command Sergeant Major. He fought in the Korean War and served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.
CSM Collazo passed away in 2007.

The photos on the following pages are from his service as a SFC with Company D 1/22 Infantry
in Vietnam, and were submitted in lasting memory and tribute by his niece and her husband.
