Raymond Richard writes: "The photo taken of Dave and I with
the fine hat was the first time for me to dig and
fill sand bags and use them to build our first bunker. Did that
bunker leak bad. Seems like we moved a day or two
after we moved in to our bunker. An even wetter established fire
base that didn't have any room for us so they
set us up outside the wire. It was crazy until you got use to the
craziness then it just became normal, Vietnam normal."
