Richard Lawrence began
his tour of duty in Vietnam with Company A,
1st Battalion 22nd Infantry in October 1966.
He was Killed in Action on February 16, 1967.
His photos of his time
with 1/22 were submitted in loving memory
by his devoted brother, Bob Lawrence.
The 1st Battalion
website wishes to express its gratitude to Bob
for adding these memories to the history of 1st Battalion,
a history in which his brother Richard will forever be an
important part.
