Alpha Gators receive decorations August 2008

 

 

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq - Col. Ted Martin, commander of the 1st Brigade
Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, awards an Army Commendation Medal
and Combat Infantryman Badge to Staff Sgt. Christopher Rosales, an infantryman from El Paso, Texas,
during an award ceremony Aug. 9 at a combat outpost in southern Baghdad's Rashid district.
Martin awarded five ARCOMs and 25 CIBs to Soldiers assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion,
22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div.

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq - Col. Ted Martin presents the Army Commendation Medal
to Sgt. Wayne Galliher, an infantry team leader from Alexandria, Ohio. Martin awarded 25 "Regulars"
Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div. Combat Infantryman Badges
and five Soldiers with Army Commendation Medals for valorous actions in the face of enemy combat.
The Soldiers of "Alpha Gator" work with Iraqi Security Forces daily to provide stability
and security for the people of the Rashid district in southern Baghdad.

in Baghdad's Rashid district. Martin, the "Raider" Brigade commander, awarded 25
Combat Infantryman Badges and five Army Commendation Medals to the "Alpha Gators" Soldiers
for actions in combat.

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq - Col. Ted Martin pins a Combat Infantryman Badge
on Pfc. Zachary Greene, an infantryman from Dallas, Texas, during an award ceremony Aug. 9
at a combat outpost in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad. Greene joined 24 other comrades
assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, to receive the CIB.
Martin also presented five Army Commendation Medals for exemplary actions in the face of the enemy.
