William Koontz Battery C 4/42 Artillery 1967-1968

These mountains reminded my of my home state of Pennsylvania, really getting homesick now.

Humping again.

Going in to check out this Yard village.

Well kept Yard village.

ARVN troops. We spent several hours at this Yard village.

ARVN troops, guy on left sitting down, was a Translator, he looks like that Viet guy that is in some movies today,
he always played a Vietnamese Officer.

People are friendly here.

Company Medic standing in front of hooch. Notice narrow steps, these people go up and down sideways.

Momma with baby and puppy.

Yards at home.

This trooper bought a puppy from this couple.

Time to head out.

We needed a long rest, been humpin awhile.

The Yards did not mind having their picture taken.

I wonder what this village looks like today.
