Battalion Run February 2003

Soldiers of 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry gathered for their morning run February 12, 2003

On February 12, 2003, three 1/22 Infantry Veterans visited with the soldiers of 1st Battalion at Fort Hood, Texas,
during the morning run of the Battalion.

On the eve of 1st Battalion's departure for possible war with Iraq,
Bob Babcock B 1/22 VN, Bill Bukovec, B 1/22 VN, and Robert Wren C 1/22 VN
wished the Regulars Godspeed in their coming deployment.

The photos on the following three pages were taken by Bob Babcock, who served as a Platoon Leader
and Executive Officer of Company B 1/22 Infantry in Vietnam 1966-1967. Bob has served as a long time
President of both the 22nd Infantry Regiment Society and the 4th Infantry Division Association.
