Cyril Earl Gilbert, B and C Companies 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry 1942 - 1945
Cyril Earl Gilbert was inducted
into the Army on 26 Feb 1942, and following initial training was
assigned to
B Company 22nd Infantry, on 10 June 1942. He remained with B
Company until 9 May 1945 when he was transferred
to C Company. He left C Company on 7 Oct 1945, when he was
released from active duty.
