Elmer Henry Weihert was born in Portland, Dodge County, Wisconsin on August 22, 1907.

Prior to entering military service he was employed by the Park Board
in the city of Watertown, Wisconsin.

He was drafted into the Army on November 23, 1942 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His home of residence was listed
as Milwaukee, Jefferson County, Wisconsin and his civilian occupation was listed as Semiskilled Occupations
In Fabrication Of Metal Products. He had completed grammar school and was single with no
dependents.

Private First Class Weihert was killed in action near La Maugerie, France on July 9, 1944.
