Charles O. Wade was born in Maryland in 1917. He was drafted into the Army
on February 22, 1943 at Baltimore, Maryland. His home of residence was listed as
Allegany County, Maryland and his civilian occupation was listed as Semiskilled Occupations
In Production of Synthetic Fibers, Chemicals. He had completed two years of High School
and was married. His religion was listed as Protestant.

Second Lieutenant Wade was killed in action in Germany on April 12, 1945.
