Paul R. Tucker Jr. was born in Indiana in 1925. He was drafted into the Army
on September 30, 1943 at Indianapolis, Indiana. His home of residence was
listed as Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. He had completed two years of
High School and was single with no dependents. His religion was listed as Protestant.

Private Tucker was killed in action in France during the attack toward the town of Perriers
on July 13, 1944.



Paul R. Tucker Jr. was buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery
Sainte Mere-Eglise #2 at Carentan, France in Block K Row 6 Grave 110 and was moved to the permanent
cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, most likely in 1948 when the temporary cemeteries were shut down.
