James N. Thompson

James N. Thompson was born in Beebe, White County, Arkansas in 1892.

He enlisted for a period of 3 years as a Private in Company D of the 22nd Infantry on April 3, 1911
at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. His enlistment record indicated that he stood 5 feet 6 ¾ inches tall, had
light brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. His previous occupation was listed as Laborer.

 

Private Thompson drowned in the Rio Grande River at Canutillo, El Paso, Texas on June 6, 1912.
