Thomas E. Taylor was born in 1921. He was drafted into the Army
on November 5, 1942. His home of residence was listed as Warren County,
Tennessee and his civilian occupation was listed as farmers, general. He had
completed grammar school and was single with no dependents.

Private First Class Thomas E. Taylor was killed in action in France,
in the vicinity of the village of Fontenay-sur-Mer.

 

 

Thomas E. Taylor was buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery
Sainte Mere-Eglise #1 at Carentan, France in Block F Row 8 Grave 149 and was moved to the permanent
cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, most likely in 1948 when the temporary cemeteries were shut down.
