Reno J. Scatolini was born on March 20, 1925 in Italy.

He was drafted into the Army on August 31, 1944 at New Haven, Connecticut.
At the time of his induction he was an American citizen. His home of residence
was listed as Derby, New Haven County, Connecticut and his civilian occupation
was listed as Skilled Mechanics And Repairmen, Motor Vehicles. He had completed
four years of High School and was single with no dependents. His religion was listed
as Catholic.

Private Scatolini was killed in action in Germany in an area south of Weinsheim on March 3, 1945.

 

 

Reno J. Scatolini was buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in Connecticut.
