Ralph Warren Rivers was born in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut on July 21, 1918.

He was drafted into the Army on August 9, 1944 at New Haven, Connecticut. His home of residence
was listed as Fairfield County, Connecticut and his civilian occupation was listed as
Semiskilled Occupations In Production of Synthetic Fibers, Chemicals. He had
completed one year of college and was married. His religion was listed as Protestant.

He was assigned to Company B from the 48th Replacement Battalion on January 27, 1945.

Private Rivers was killed in action in Germany during the battle for the city of Prüm
on February 7, 1945.

Hamm Cemetery, Hamm, Luxembourg and some time later
his remains were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in New York.
