Milton Francis Prell was born in La Grange Township, Monroe County, Wisconsin on May 8, 1926.

His home of residence was listed as Tomah, Wisconsin.
His religion was listed as Catholic.

Prior to entering military service he was employed at the Tomah Mercantile Company
in Tomah, Wisconsin.

His Army serial number indicates he was drafted into the Army.

He was assigned to Company C from the 48th Replacement Battalion on February 8, 1945.

Private Milton F. Prell was killed in action in Germany near the town of Schwirzheim
on March 4, 1945.

 

 

Milton F. Prell was buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in Wisconsin on March 4, 1949.
