Emeral Harding Posey was born in Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas on July 21, 1921.

He listed his home of residence as Watson, Desha County, Arkansas.
His religion was listed as Protestant.

His Army serial number indicates he was drafted into the Army.

He was married on July 24, 1943.

Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was reinterred in Arkansas,
most likely in 1949 as the date on the application for his headstone/marker
is August 2, 1949.
