Robert A. Pennington was born on January 26, 1920.

He was assigned to Company B as a platoon leader, from the 4th Infantry Division replacement pool
on October 6, 1944.

Second Lieutenant Pennington was killed in action on the Belgian-German border
on October 7, 1944.

Robert A. Pennington was originally buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery
Henri-Chapelle Cemetery, Eupen, Belgium in Plot F Row 7 Grave 140 and his remains
were later returned to the United States where he was interred in Arlington National Cemetery
on November 20, 1947.
