Archie Albert Patterson was born in Wayne Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania on June 28, 1926.

He was drafted into the Army on October 6, 1944 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His home of residence was listed
as Yatesboro, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and his civilian occupation was listed as
Unskilled Construction Occupations. He had completed grammar school and was single
with no dependents. His religion was listed as Protestant.

Private Patterson was killed in action in Germany, near Bad Mergentheim, on April 2, 1945.
