Arnold J. Meszaros Jr. was born in Irvington, Westchester County, New York on August 17, 1928.
He enlisted in the Army Reserves
on February 13, 1943 at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. His home of
residence was listed as Irvington, Westchester County, New York.
He had completed four
years of High School and was single with no dependents. His
religion was listed as Catholic.
He was assigned to Company A
from the 4th Infantry Division replacement pool
on June 30, 1944.
Meszaros was wounded during the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest on November 18, 1944.

Arnold J. Meszaros Jr. was
buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in New York on April 23, 1949.
