Andrew Marchincak was born in Passaic, New Jersey on April 4, 1926.
He was drafted into the Army on
August 30, 1944 at Newark, New Jersey. His home of residence
was listed as Clifton, Passaic County, New Jersey. He had
completed grammar school and was
single with no dependents. His religion was listed as Catholic.
He was assigned to Company A from the 48th Replacment Battalion on February 8, 1945.
Private Marchincak was killed in action in the vicinity of Bruhlborn, Germany, on March 2, 1945.

Andrew Marchincak was buried in
the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in New Jersey on April 30, 1949.
