Technical Sergeant Lucas was killed in action in Germany near Weinsheim on April 3, 1945.

 

 

Michael J. Lucas was originally buried in the temporary cemetery at Saint-Avold
in Block XX Row 10 Grave 115, and was moved to the permanent cemetery at Saint-Avold,
in the 1947-1949 time frame, when the temporary cemeteries were shut down.
