Embree W. Logue

Embree W. Logue was born in
Georgia on November 12, 1914. He was drafted into
the Army on February 10, 1942 at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia. His home of
residence was listed as Adrian, Georgia and his civilian occupation was listed as
Unskilled Sawmill Occupations. He had completed grammar school and was single
with no dependents. His religion was listed as Protestant.
Private Logue died on July 8,
1944 of wounds received in action in France
on June 23, 1944, during the attack toward Cherbourg.
Embree W. Logue was buried in
the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Brookwood Cemetery, London, England and some time later
his remains were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in Georgia.
