William R. Kramer

William R. Kramer was born in
New Jersey on May 24, 1926. He was drafted into the Army
on August 31, 1944, at Newark, New Jersey. He had completed three years of High School
and was single with no dependents. His religion was listed as Protestant.
Private Kramer was killed in action in Germany in an area south of Weinsheim on March 3, 1945.
William R. Kramer was buried in
the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in New Jersey.
