Reubin John Kasper was born in Granger, Williamson County, Texas on March 30, 1925.

He was drafted into the Army on April 1, 1944 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. His home of residence
was listed as Granger, Williamson County, Texas. He had completed grammar school and was
single with no dependents. His religion was listed as Catholic.

Staff Sergeant Kasper was killed in action in Germany near the town of Schwirzheim
on March 4, 1945.

 

 

Reubin J. Kasper was originally buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium in Block H Row 1 Grave 3 and his remains were later
transferred and buried in Henri-Chapelle, in the 1947-1949 time frame, when the temporary
cemeteries were shut down.
