Paul R. Hester was born in New York on May 11, 1923. He was drafted into the Army on
January 7, 1943 at Syracuse, New York. His home of residence was listed as Grafton, New York

completed three years of High School and was single with no dependents. His religion was
listed as Catholic.

Private First Class Hester was killed in action in Germany during the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest
on November 28, 1944.
