Thomas W. Goddard was born in Ohio in 1915. He enlisted in the Army on
April 29, 1941 at Fort Hayes, Columbus, Ohio. His civilian occupation was
listed as Semiskilled Mechanics And Repairmen, Motor Vehicles. He had
completed two years of High School and was single with no dependents.
His religion was listed as Protestant.

Private Goddard was killed in action in Germany during the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest
on November 28, 1944.
