Lawrence Joseph Fabre was born in Berwick, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana on January 26, 1924 .

His home of residence was listed as Morgan City, Louisiana. His religion was listed as Catholic.

Prior to entering military service he was employed by the Yersaggi Shrimp Company in
Patterson, Louisiana.

His Army serial number indicates he was drafted into the Army.

The application for his grave marker indicates he entered the Army on April 17, 1944.

He was assigned to Company A from the 92nd Replacement Battalion on November 21, 1944.

Private Fabre was killed in action in Germany during the battle of the Hürtgen Forest
on December 3, 1944.
