Bruce Albert Duffield was born in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan on March 26, 1919.

His home of residence was listed as Inkster, Wayne County, Michigan.

Private Duffield was killed in action in France, on June 15, 1944,
during 1st Battalion's attack against the Quineville ridge.

Sainte Mere-Eglise #2 at Carentan, France and some time later
his remains were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in Arlington National Cemetery on May 24, 1949.
