Alfonso De La Garza Jr. was born in 1926. He was drafted into the Army on
April 27, 1944 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. His home of residence as listed as
McAllen, Hidalgo County, Texas and his civilian occuaption was listed as student.
He had completed two years of High School and was single with no dependents.

Private De La Garza was killed in action in Germany near the town of Schwirzheim.
