Patrick Connor was assigned from the Recruiting Depot at Sioux City, Iowa as a Private to Company A 22nd Infantry
at Fort Sully, Dakota Territory on November 11, 1870.

At an unknown date between November 1870 and February 1873 he was promoted to Corporal.

Corporal Connor died of inflammation of the liver in the Post Hospital
at Fort Sully, Dakota Territory on February 21, 1873.

 

Patrick Connor was buried in the Post Cemetery at Fort Sully in grave # 15. In May 1895 his remains
were re-interred in the National Cemetery at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
