Bert L. Black Jr. was born in Arizona on January 25, 1925 and listed his home of residence
as Yavapai County, Arizona. His religion was listed as Protestant.

Private Black was killed in action in Germany during the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest,
on December 2, 1944.

 

 

Bert L. Black Jr. was buried in the temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Henri-Chapelle Cemetery, Eupen, Belgium and some time later
his remains were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in California.
