Andy Baldridge was born in Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma on May 27, 1919.
He was drafted into the Army on
January 16, 1942 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. His home of residence
was listed
as Sequoyah County, Oklahoma and his civilian occupation was
listed as Farm Hands, General Farms.
He had completed grammar school and was single with no
dependents. His religion was listed as Protestant.
He was assigned to Company C
from the 4th Infantry Division
replacement pool on June 17, 1944.
He was wounded in action in
France on June 25, 1944 and returned to duty
on August 7, 1944.
Private First Class Baldridge
was killed in action in Germany on February 9, 1945
during the battle for the city of Prüm.

Andy Baldridge was buried in the
temporary U.S. Military Cemetery,
Foy Cemetery, Bastogne, Belgium and some time later his remains
were returned to the United States where he was
reinterred in Oklahoma.
