In Memory of Sgt. York
Sgt. York came to our platoon around
November 1967. He was placed in charge of the rifle squad that I
was in.
He was a fine man who always put his men first. I had the utmost
respect for him and his death was a great loss to us in the unit.
Even after 37 years, he is still in my thoughts and prayers. Rest
in peace my old friend.
