Daniel Lynch was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1869.
He enlisted for a period of 3
years as a Private in Company C of the 22nd Infantry on July 8,
1899
at Fall River, Massachusetts. His enlistment record indicated
that he stood 5 feet 7 ¼ inches tall,
had black hair, blue eyes and a dark complexion. His previous
occupation was listed as Machinist.
Private Daniel Lynch died from
dysentery at the 4th District Hospital at San Isidro,
Island of Luzon, Philippines on June 18, 1900.

Daniel Lynch was originally
buried in the military cemetery at San Isidro, on the island of
Luzon in Grave #6.
His remains were returned to San Francisco, California aboard the
transport Logan on March 29, 1901.
