Seeber Kelly died from wounds received during the Battle of Chu Moor Mountain.
He was on night defense of his perimeter position when hit by small arms and rocket fire.
Seeber was admitted to the military hospital at Pleiku on April 26, and died while enroute to the
7th Field Hospital on April 30.

Seeber Kelly was killed in action during the Battle for Chu Moor mountain.
