Staff Sergeant Clifford Bias was killed while on a convoy down Highway QL 14 in Kontum Province.
About 11 kilometers east/northeast of Polei Krong airfield, at grid reference ZA208945,
the truck in which he was riding struck a mine.

Riding in the same truck as SSG Bias was SGM William McGee, of Company D, who was also killed.

Clifford Bias left behind his wife, one son and one daughter.
